Edna Mae Jones

Edna Mae Jones, age 99, of Burnsville, passed away on July 15, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Survived by daughter, Betty Ann (Dennis) Olson; sons, Richard (Joyce) Jones and Robert (Barbara) Jones; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 1 niece, 4 nephews and sister-in-law, Ruth Skoglund. She was preceded in death by her husband , Gordon David "Casey" Jones; parents, Leonard Victor Skoglund and Lenore E. Skoglund; sisters, Leone Slater and Betty Cramer; brother, Lindon Victor "Vic" Skoglund. Edna Mae was born in Braham, MN and raised in Gascoyne, ND. She married Casey Jones in the early fall of 1939 in Minneapolis. Edna Mae and Casey made their home in Pipestone, MN where they owned and operated furniture and funeral businesses for many years. She moved to Burnsville, MN in 1980. Edna Mae bestowed a legacy of love that will endure among her family for generations.
