Orville G. Nouska

Orville G. "Gene" Nouska, age 88 of Bloomington passed away March 4 surrounded by family. He was devoted to family, God, and his country. He is survived by wife, Joan Nouska; children, Gene (Kay) Nouska, Cheryl (Larry) Kielpinski, Charlene (Mick) Reierson, Orville Jr. (Jeannie) Nouska; grandchildren, Jennifer, Valerie, Gail, Leea, Stephanie, Jim, Mike, Molly, and Teagan; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Terrance, Donyell Jr., Devynn, Tylor, Logan, Evan, Briell, Jacquel, Hannah, and Charlie; sister, Donna Mae Blume; sister-in-law, Lois Nouska. Preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Jessie Nouska; and brother, John Nouska. He was a WWII veteran who received the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster, Purple Heart, and Presidential Unit Citation. He served 3 years as Commander of Purple Heart Chapter 268.
