Gary and I go back to our early days in Holloway to our 50th class reunion in Appleton. And on those occasions when we would see each other we would reminisce about Holloway and who was the toughest. After hearing about his illness and knowing the courage it takes to face it, Gary you were the toughest!

We will be out of town, but wanted to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Ernie, you are truly one of a kind. We will miss you so much at the lake and every day. Every time I think about you I smile. All of your “Ernie-isms” are stuck in my brain and I find myself laughing at your humor. We were so glad we got to see you last week and interact with you. I’m so sorry I made you laugh and the nurse told us to calm down. Little did she know what we were talking about. Judy, I can’t tell you how brave and strong you have been for the last year. Ernie loved you so much, even though it was his daily task to give you a hard time. Dig? LOL! We will forever be friends, and I cherish you. You are so lucky to have a family that cares and loves you so much. Ernie, my friend, enjoy your new surroundings. Til we meet again.
