Armand P. LaChance, age 88 of Edina. Born on Sept. 29, 1925 in Red Lake County, MN and died on June 11, 2014 in Edina. Proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII where he received a purple heart and 3 bronze stars. Long time member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his son, Charles and daughter-in-law, Dianne. Survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Elaine; and son, John LaChance; grandchildren, Kenneth (Brenda) LaChance, Jennifer (Tony) Castillo, Mandy (Patrick) Thorsteinson, Daniel (Nicole) LaChance, Joseph LaChance, and Jessica (Rob) Weber; 10 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends.
