Rev. George Kenneth Tjaden, age 99 of Edina, passed away June 26, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, nine brothers and sisters and beloved wife of 73 years, Marian. Survived by children, John (Miriam), Ann (Bill), Ruth; grandchildren, Joshua (Lynsey), Gretchen, Amber, Cyri, Will, and great-grandchildren, Sid, Henry, Oliver, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the University of Dubuque Seminary Scholarships or Camp Wyoming, Wyoming, Iowa.
I remember fondly, the Tjaden family, and Rev. Tjaden, as he confirmed me at the Presbyterian Church, in Winnebago, Minnesota. He was a wonderful example, to all that were blessed to know him. God Bless his memory. Janice Germain Irvine
