Charles Jay Hubbard, age 90 of Garrison, formerly of Bloomington. Born on August 15, 1924 in Minneapolis and died on April 7, 2015 at his daughter's home in Rochester. He was preceded in death by his wife, Angela. Proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII and was honorably discharged as a master sergeant. He began working for Standard Machine Co. in south Minneapolis and eventually rose to be President and part owner. He loved spending time at Big Pine Lake near Garrison, especially with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He loved woodcarving, including making several full sized totem poles, and spending his winters in Fountain Hills, AZ. Survived by two sons, Charles (Pam) of Sacramento, CA and Tom (Lisa) of Chippewa Falls, WI and a daughter, Debbie (John) of Rochester, MN; 8 grandchildren, Scott Hubbard (Alex), Misty Black (Leland), John Weiss, Angela Weiss, Charlie Weiss (Megan), Jessica Lemke (Andy), Chuckie Hubbard, and Michelle Hubbard; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Black, Lucas Hubbard, Travis Black, and Anthony Weiss.
