William O. “Bill” Johnson

Our beloved Bill has gone to be with Jesus. His love, gentleness, kindness and humor remain with us.

William O. "Bill" Johnson, age 91 of Bloomington. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Marion; son, Bill Alan; daughters, Joan (Steve McKeown) Johnson, Jeanette Smith, and Kay (Gary) Pierson; grandchildren, Heather (Trey Woodson, fiancé)) and Sarah Pierson, Shannon (Vincent Hopwood) Smith, Melanie and Melizza Rodriquez, Ryan (Jill), and Josh McKeown; great grandchildren Siri, Brandeis, Arianna, Evan, Jaida and Tylor; and many nieces, nephews cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He is preceded in death by parents, Hannah and Oscar; sister, Joyce; daughter, Carol; and many other family and friends who will greet Bill when he arrives at his eternal home.

A huge "thank you" to the staff and volunteers of Meadow Woods at Martin Luther Campus, Senior Home Health Care, Fairview Home Hospice, and other caregivers whose constant care meant to much to Bill and his family. Also the many visits, calls and cards from friends and relatives were so very appreciated.
