To the family and friends of Steven Moon, my deepest sympathy on the loss. May your warm memories and precious experiences together be a source of encouragement to you in the days and weeks ahead. May the God of all comfort support you tenderly and may you sense His love for you in your heart. He knows, understands and cares about how you feel. My thoughts and prayers are with you. John 5:28, Rev. 21:4
I was a fellow judge with Steve. His creative intelligence and his big heart made him a role model for all of us. I wish peace to all his friends and family.
My favorite memory of Steve is the many times he talked about our local sports teams. During the many years when Steve and I worked together at the Minnesota Department of Human Services, we regularly went to lunch with a group of guys from DHS and often talked about sports over lunch. Steve was a great fan of our local teams, particularly the Twins and the Gophers and I always loved talking sports with him.
Actually, the word “great” describes Steve in more ways than one. He was a great dad, a great attorney, a great musician, a great colleague, and a great friend. He had a great mind, a great sense of humor, and a great laugh. All in all, he was one great guy.
Goodbye my friend.
