Arthur Eugene "Art" Dubé, Jr., age 91 of Minneapolis. Born April 28, 1925 and passed away peacefully on September 29th with his family at his side. Art proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and remained enlisted for 20 years. Additionally, he worked at the V.A. Medical Center as a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic for another 20 years. In 1958 Art joined what is known today as the Morris Park Players and was the back bone of the community theatre group for 50 years. The City of Minneapolis declared November 6, 2009, Art Dubé Day in honor of his steadfast commitment to his community and the arts. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Arletta Plank; parents, Arthur Sr. and Hilda Dubé; brothers, Robert, Wallace and Donald Dubé; and a sister, Carole Anderson. Survived by his children, Deborah (Michael) Price, Michelle (Kenneth) Meade, James (Suzanne) Dubé and Jeannine (Jesse) Quam; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Charles (Rose) Dubé; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Pat’s brother, Paul, a navy veteran of 23 years, and his wife a visiting us on Mon and Tue of this week. We have plans to visit Pat’s aunt who fell and fractured her back on Tue.
