So sorry that Pat has left this earth. She was a good friend. We had many a good time through the years. She was always thoughtful and many times sent us on our way after a short visit because she though we must have something more important to do than visit with her. She was wrong. We loved visiting with her. Kids, you were blessed to have such giving parents.
Just a wonderful, beautiful, person, with great personality and big heart with compassion, understanding!!
Always rembering, you have to accept many things,…….. doesn’t mean you have to like it!
Pat was an awesome Neighbor to myself and my entire family. She was like a second mother to me! Great memories with Pat and the entire Olejnicak family. I love all of you, you were all an inspiration to me. Pat will be missed. She is in good hands…
So many great memories with the Olejnicak family, especially the ring leaders, Pat and Gene! They were those parents we all wanted, fun to be around, rules, but not too many, always included you, and made sure you were part of their family, believed that more was always better! Gene was my Scout Master, guided me towards Eagle, loved to embarrass a once introverted teen while grocery shopping for campouts at Holiday, taught me that it’s not good beef stew without a rutabaga or two! Pat, was involved in elementary school activities, and scouts with my mom too! They were truly the people who would give you the shirt off their back, dropped off a hot dish if there was a need, invited you for holidays, took you to their cabin, and vacationed with my folks! I remember picking them up at MSP from an all nighter on a Western Airlines, “Champagne Flight” from California, they really enjoyed that flight home, proof that Western was ” the only way to fly”! They helped orchestrate a trip to Maui, the year I missed Christmas, to open our new Marriott in LaJolla, with a surprise visit while they were all on vacation with mom and dad! My mom was speechless, I know, hard to believe! They loved being part of the fun, and the plan always came together better when they were involved! I have to believe they are all having the greatest time, being together again, and we are all the better having had them touch our lives the way that they did! Until we meet again, Rest In Peace, and Godspeed my friend!
