LeRoy A. Piehl, age 76, of Bloomington passed away on August 23rd with his family at his side. Graduated from Rhinelander, Wisconsin High School in 1959. Retired from Northwest Airlines after 42 years of service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Packer Fan. Survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Bonnie; children and their spouses, Greg (Laura) Piehl, Julie (Dave) Shiplet and Marcia (Rich) Carlson; grandchildren, Joshua, Jessica, Hannah, Hunter, Tyler, Jack, Ryan, Dana and Kyle; sister, Dora (Stewart) Mann and a brother, Owen (Sara) Piehl.

Leroy was a very dear friend to us. Many happy memories from the high school prom, to parties, to Hodag Country Fest and so many more. He will certainly be missed by us and many many more.

So sorry to hear of Leroy’s passing. He was such a sweet man. I have many fond memories of our years working together at NWA, the fun times in Mille Lacs with the NWA crew and not to mention his Hodags!!! My thoughts and prayers to all of you!
