November 24, 1933 - May 27, 2018
Beverly Ann Hogan Wald was born in Mason City, Iowa on November 24, 1933. She graduated from St. Joe's High School in 1951. After graduation, she moved to Minneapolis where she attended the U. of M. and studied to become a registered X-Ray Technician. Her first job was at Swedish Hospital where Bev met her future husband, Rolland Wald who was working as an ambulance driver at that time. Bev and Rolland were married in May of 1957. They later moved to Bloomington, where they raised two wonderful children, Lisa Marie and Gregory Michael. Bev later worked at Metropolitan Medical Center and HCMC. Bev was an avid Packer and Notre Dame football fan. Bev loved to spend her summers sitting on the deck at their Crosslake home, while the winter months were spent in ice rinks all around the state watching her son and later her two grandsons playing hockey. Her family was her world. She was very proud of her Irish and Czech heritage. Beverly Ann was a wonderful wife, loving mother, caring grandmother and a kind and true friend to all. She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Rolland, daughter Lisa (Jeff) Crist, son Greg (Barb) Wald and grandsons Matt and Charlie Crist.
The family wishes to thank the entire staff at Founder's Ridge for all of the kind and excellent care given to Bev during her time there.
Private family services will be held.
