Shirley M. Erickson
Age 90, of Richfield. Shirley grew up on a modest farm in northern MN. She was the youngest of 6 children. She and Howard bought a rustic cabin on Hanging Horn Lake in 1977. It was near Barnum , in the area where they both grew up . Many happy memories were made there with family and friends. Family gatherings were very important to her and she was always willing to host. Shirley worked as a cashier for 25 years, and made many close friends there. She loved to read, sew and quilt, and play bridge. She loved music and theater and most of all travel, all over the US and abroad. Her constant voice of reason was a moral compass for many and will be deeply missed.
