Age 74, of Mpls, passed away gracefully on 11/10/19. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Velasquez; son, Steven Velasquez; granddaughter, Sofia Velasquez; parents, John and Orlene Reed; sisters, Jacqueline Malone and Joan Peterson; niece, Alison Petrich. Survived by children, Jason (Leah) Velasquez and Cynthia (Shawn) Mattice; daughter-in-law, Marianne Velasquez; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Dupre, Jonah Velasquez, Aaron Marquez, Salina Velasquez, Annika Jo Mattice and Abigail Charlie Mattice; great-granddaughter, Summer Dupre; siblings, Ruth (Jerry) Owen, Diane Poole and Grant Reed; and many other loving relatives and friends.

I am so sorry for Carol’s family and friends. Prayers to you all. Corol was one of my best friends from high school and we had an outstanding and very courageous youth with many wonderful memories. I am blessed having her in my heart. I will forever be blessed with her friendship.
