William F. “Sarge” Roepke age 92 of Richfield. He was a 20-year veteran of the Army and retired from Honeywell after 23 years. Survived by wife of 58 years, Ursula; children, Frank, Dean (Liza), Diane (Michael) Hickey; grandchildren Rebecca, Patrick, Cassandra, Jacob, Sara, Jordan; great grandson, Drake.

We are saddened to learn of Bill’s passing. He and Ursula have been wonderful neighbors to our son and family. We enjoyed talking with both of them when we came to visit Richfield. Bill was a great conversationalist and it was so nice to hear his stories. We wish we could have visited with them more often. Our deepest condolences to Ursula and her family.
