Elaine Bernice Timmers

Elaine Bernice Timmers (nee, Carlson) age 84 of Edina. May 12th, 1935- January 2nd, 2020. Married Dale Matthew Timmers in 1957 and raised their family in Richfield; relocating to Edina in the 1980’s. Elaine worked in the airline industry for decades and has several dear friends from those years. She most recently was a volunteer in the Minneapolis Airport @ Traveler’s Assistance where she made many great friends and provided support to thousands of travelers. She also spent time mentoring children to read by volunteering at the Edina Elementary school near her home. Elaine was an active member at Hope Presbyterian Church in Richfield. She will be missed by many. She is survived by sons, Mark (Lorrie Buirge) and Rick (Kim); her special nieces and nephews, Colleen (Mark) Gerber, Brad (Kamy) Carlson, Linda (Dean) Sivertsen, John (Maria Dietz) Gunter and Cindy Gunter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Axel Carlson; brother, Clifford Carlson and sister, Adele Gunter; her loving husband, Dale and son, Steven.

Private interment at Ft. Snelling, where she will reunite with her soulmate Dale.
