Bob was one of a kind, I graduated with him. We played football together at Central. We played intramural basketball together. Bob always had a smile in his face, a kind greeting. Everyone liked him! I saw him act at UMD, sounds like he continued with this. I am so glad he had a nice life, gone way too short. I was looking forward to seeing him at our upcoming reunion. We would of picked up like it was 73 again. I am very sorry for your loss, May his memory be eternal .

I was so sorry to read about Bob’s passing. When I was a child, my family house was just a few doors down from his on E. 8th St. in Duluth. We grew up playing together with all of the other kids on the block. Even then, he was a great guy, sweet, funny, athletic. I’ve thought about him, now and then, over the years. You don’t forget Bob. I’m glad I get to say I knew him when. My sincerest condolences to all of the family and friends.

  9. Julianne Tamasy says:

Along with my father and mother, Attila and Rosalie Tamásy, I would like to send the entire Bihari our condolences. The Bihari family played such a big role in our lives, and as immigrants, it meant a lot to have fellow Hungarians in the community, with shared language and culture, and a lot of laughs, too. Bob was the master of making people laugh, and being in the moment. We have so many happy memories of Bob, from holidays, to family get togethers. Bob was a funny and joyful man, and to know him was to love him. We will never forget Bob and are sending love and blessings to all the Bihari’s.

  16. Tom Grant says:

So sorry to hear about Bob passing away! I remember Bob a big man with a huge sense of humor and big smile. I hadn’t seen Bob in many years but remember him fondly and the many times I spent at the house he rented with a couple other friends back in the 80’s. Good times and good friends! Rest in peace Bob! You were one of a kind.

  17. Jamie says:

I remember going to Bob and Judys and feeling a sense of calm waking through the door. Bob would always take the extra time to ask us kids how our school day was and he actually cared to know the answer. He made sure we felt welcome in his home despite what annoying pain in the butt noisy children we were. He looked out for kids in the neighborhood, and was an example to kids who’s dads weren’t always around. He offered to teach us how to drive and helped us out with whatever we needed. I hope he knows that me, and others were greatful to have him around growing up. Rest In Peace Bob. I’m sorry for your loss guys.

  18. Diane Ellefson Grindahl says:
