August 21, 1924 - November 21, 2020
Beatrice A. Matko, age 96, of Richfield. Preceded in death by her husband, Edward; son Michael and son-in-law Thomas Turgeon. Survived by daughters Patricia Turgeon, Dianne Matko, Janet Matko; grandchildren Nicholas (Shannon) Matko, Kevin Turgeon, Eric Turgeon, Lisa Turgeon, great-grandchildren Michael, Lily, Joseph and Luke Matko, nieces and nephews.
Beatrice's faith in God and love for our Blessed Mother shone brightly throughout her life and she passed that love on to her family. She really lived her faith by her kindness, always putting others first and being active in her community at Assumption Church. Though the past few years she slowed down physically, her spiritual life was as strong as ever. She continued to be involved with her church's prayer chain, and prayed the rosary and chaplet of the Divine Mercy daily. She continued to give to charities and prayed often for her family and the needs of the world. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. When I think of your mom, I always think about when I would go to your house when we were kids and she would be playing the organ. I imagine beautiful organ music playing when she got to heaven where Your Dad and Michael were waiting to welcome her home. Love, thoughts and prayers to your family.
Hi Pat, Diane, and Janet. This is cousin Dan from Chicago writing to tell you that I am sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Beatrice. I miss the years long ago where we would all be together, as time has gone by and we have all went in different directions. I am sorry that we lost contact over these many years as a family. It has been many years since we have seen each other, and I hope that all of you are doing well. Please again accept my condolences from myself, and your cousins Tim and Bob at the time of sadness for all of you. If any of you would consider doing, please contact me at my email address, GMANDANCUBFAN@AOL.COM. I would like to talk again with all of you and try and catch up on all the years that have gone by since we have seen each other.
