James Eugene Borgen, age 85, of Richfield, passed away on August 17, 2021. He worked in Radio Broadcasting and in the insurance and investment field for over 40 years. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty; daughter, Melanie; and brother, Don Borgen. Survived by sons, Monte (Susan) Borgen and Marshall (Maria) Borgen; daughter, Melinda Borgen; grandchildren, Brad, Heather and Allison Borgen.
Memorials may be given to the Animal Humane Society.

My sympathies to all of my Borgen family. I loved your Dad so much. He had the most soothing, deep voice and great laugh. Like I told Marshall, Jim gave me my first record album (the Carpenters, Close to you). He knew I loved their music. I remember fondly both Betty and Jim. Praying your hearts will be comforted in knowing he is with your Mom and Melanie now.
