Jeanne lived a full and happy life. Jeanne married Dick in 1950 and had two daughters. Jeanne was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW and held many chairs, including president. She loved her family and enjoyed spending as much time with them as she could, especially the poker nights. She loved cooking for all of us and watching us enjoy her feasts. Jeanne and her sister Betty had a tradition of spending 12-hour days baking Christmas cookies and then let us kids frost them. Jeanne was a stay-at-home mom until LuAnn was in high school and then she started working at Bridgeman’s. She was the restaurant/bar manager at the VFW, and after that, she worked at the Star Tribune until her retirement in 2003. Jeanne spent the last 5 years at Walker Methodist Health Center with dementia, enjoying crafts, singing, trivia games and the outings.
A special thank you to Grace Hospice for all the love, compassion and support they gave Jeanne and her family.
We love you and will miss you until we meet again.
