Helen (Kostick) Bodger
Age 92, of Minneapolis, passed away January 22, 2022 at N.C.- Little Hospice with her 3 children by her side.
Preceded in death by husband, Donald Bodger; sisters, Mary Shore and Anne Painter; brothers-in-law, Bud Shore, Beryl Painter, Richard Bodger and James Bodger; sister-in-law, Mary Pat Bodger.
Survived by children, Charles (Katherine) Bodger, Thomas (Darcy) Bodger, Paula (Kevin) Ario; grandchildren, Steven, David, John, Katherine, Nikki, Nathan and Aaron; sisters-in-law Laura Bodger and Jeri Bodger, nieces, nephews and friends who she dearly loved.
She was a MPLS Edison HS graduate. She married Donald Bodger on May 23rd, 1953 and now she is reunited in heaven with her beloved husband. She was a devoted and loving Mother to her children and grandchildren. She had many interests including: gardening, music, reading, following MN sports & doing daily crosswords. She and Donald loved to go to Canterbury Park and travel to Las Vegas together. She worked for Charles W. Sexton Insurance Co for 14 years and was in Red Owl Product Sample Sales. She sang in the RUMC Choir for 15 years. Proudly participated in the RUMC Rich Harvest grocery program and was a RUMC Sunday School teacher as well.
Private Service for immediate family only. Private interment Ft. Snelling.
