Pearl Elizabeth Weitbrecht

Pearl Elizabeth Weitbrecht passed away peacefully at the age of 96 on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home, Sauk Rapids, MN
Pearl was born January 4, 1926 in Minot, North Dakota to Ernest Renshaw McNeal and Opal Jensen McNeal. She grew up in Northeast Minneapolis, graduating from Edison High School in 1942. She married Army Air Corp Staff Sgt. Herbert A. Weitbrecht on June 16, 1945. They lived in NE Minneapolis after his service discharge until 1952, then settled in Richfield. Herbert passed in 2007, and Pearl stayed in Richfield until moving to Country Manor Villa Assisted Living, Sartell, in 2014.
Pearl worked as church secretary for House of Prayer Lutheran Church, and also as a bookkeeper/accountant. She served on the Board of the Northwest Airlines Retiree Club, organizing trips, luncheons, and events for members. She loved playing 500 and bingo. She was an avid MN Twins fan and loved watching baseball and golf.
Pearl was kind, generous, and always willing to help others in need. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be deeply missed.
Pearl is survived by children, Ron (Diane) Weitbrecht, Cheri (Bill) Kunshier; grandchildren, Scott (Letha) Kunshier, McKenna Kunshier, and Heidi (Scott) Holewinski; great-grandchildren, Cole, Maxwell and Ella Kunshier, Jacob Seyler, Tyler and Madaline Holewinski.
