John George “Jack” Wright

John George Wright, known to many as “Jack,” passed away peacefully in McLean, VA, on June 29, 2023. Jack, age 84, was born in Spokane, WA, where he met and married Florence, his high school sweetheart. Jack spent most of his career in sales and public relations, and won many awards for public speaking. He was a man of deep Christian faith, and even when he suffered memory loss for many years, he never tired of talking of his love for God. He also enjoyed singing, remembering all the words to 1950s rock ’n’ roll hits.

Jack is survived by his wife, Florence, of Falls Church, VA; children, John C. Wright of Bloomington, MN, Julie (John) Conroy of Falls Church, VA, David Wright of St. Paul, MN, Connie (Dan) Rossini of Omaha, NE, Joseph (Brooke) Wright of Morrisville, VT, Drew (Awenita) Wright of Phoenix, AZ, Rachel Wright of Santa Fe, NM, Father Michael Mary Wright of Meeteese, WY and Matthew (Stephanie) Wright of Mankato, MN; sisters, Patricia Siebert of Spokane, WA and Suzanne Torbenson of Spokane Valley, WA; and 20 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his children, Terri Wright and Mark Wright.
