Roger L. Prigge

Roger L. Prigge, age 89, of Bloomington, died in Christ on June 24, 2024.

Roger was a Navy Pilot and spent 5 years active duty, followed by an additional 20 years in the reserves. He was a retired banker for Norwest banks. In 1957, Roger married Arlene Rehwaldt and was with her until she passed in 1995 and in 1996, Roger married Barbara Johannes. Roger was a proud and active member of Mt. Calvary Church in Richfield, where he taught Bible Study. He also served in many of the offices and boards for Mt. Calvary, the Minnesota South District Board, the LCMS Board of Directors Foundation, and on the Board for the Minneapolis Lutheran High School.

Preceded in death by his first wife, Arlene (Rehwaldt) Prigge; parents LeRoy and Agnes Prigge; and son-in-law, Jason Ernst. Survived by wife, Barbara (Johannes) Prigge; children, Candace Prigge, Kevin Prigge (Renee), Brendan Prigge (Alice) and Celeste Churchill (Ken); grandchildren, Weston, Michala and Jayce; step-grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Emma and Sasha; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Mikkelson; brother, Eugene (Janice) Prigge and many other friends and families.
