Mary Lucille Olson

Mary Lucille Olson (née Grube) of Richfield, MN died on October 9, 2024. Mary Lu was born to Wallace and Cora Grube and spent her childhood in Finley, North Dakota. She was a dedicated, loving, hardworking wife and mother. She will be greatly missed.

She met and married the love of her life, Milton Olson while working together at a grocery store. They lived and raised their family in Richfield, MN. Together, they owned and operated several small supermarkets until they retired. They took pride in maintaining their home, spending time with family, volunteering and were active in their church.

Mary is survived by daughters, Melanie Colley, Cathy Koland (Forrest), Carol Low (Scott); grandchildren, Christie (Jesse), Brian (Jessica), Jessica, Anna (Travis), Michael (Samantha), & Marc (Erienne); great-grandchildren, Teagan, Kenedi, Lillibelle, Kash, Travis, Lucas, Nash, Presley and Louie; great great-grandchildren, Jaxon; siblings, LeeAnn Craig (Robert), Douglas Grube, and Shirley Hahn (Rodney), sisters-in-law, Donna Gerads and Irene Lindblad.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Dennis Grube and Lawrence Grube; brothers-in-law, Kennard Olson and Ervin Gerads; sisters-in-law, Betty Stockdale; grandson, Justin Colley; nieces, Rona Grube and Rita Grube and nephew, David Grube.
