SGT E-5 Adam Scott Flanery, age 27, died suddenly on July 9, 2015, at Fort Carson, Colorado. Preceded in death by parents, Alan Wachsmuth and Connie Flanery; and cousin, Michael Wachsmuth. Survived by wife, Nicole Flanery; grandparents, Bill and Marge Auby; sister, Sarina Rogers; brother, Ben Flanery; niece, Raine; grandmother, Shirley Sloat; mentor and cousin, Jeremy Wachsmuth, sweetheart, Alana Wachsmuth; and many other cousins, aunts and uncles. Sgt. Flanery was a 2006 graduate of Southwest Christian High School in Chaska, MN. Sgt. Flanery enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2009 and served his country as an honorable soldier until his death in 2015.
