When Jim told me of Al’s passing it hit me hard, but I always knew it would. The Hoffman family was my second family growing up and I always felt welcome in their home. It truly pains me that I will not be able to attend his services because I am out of state. I will be there in my heart. I’ll miss you Big Al, thanks for the history lessons and classical music appreciation you instilled in me, I am a better man for having known you. To the Hoffman family I miss you all more than you can imagine.

Dear Brian,
Thank you for your words of comfort and appreciation for my dad. I look forward to when you can come to visit and we can have a “family reunion”
Love, Margaret (AKA Peggy)
Dear John and family, We are sorry to hear of your dad’s passing on Christmas Eve. He was an active man who gave a lot. He will be missed by many. We always appreciated his easy smile and comraderie. We will keep you all in our prayers. Lucy & Tom
