Alma M. Rooney
Age 91, of South Minneapolis. Alma was a committed member of Southwest Community Church of the Nazarene. Alma worked for Fingerhut Corporation for about 40 years until she retired in 1990. She began working for Manny Fingerhut sewing seat covers for automobiles and later transitioned to the telephone switchboard where she worked until she retired in 1990. Survived by nephews, Doug Rooney, Gary Ringhiser and Dave Ringhiser; niece, Marilyn Anderson; 4 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Fred and Martha Rooney; sister, Hilda Rooney; brother, Frank Rooney and sister-in-law, Mildred Rooney.
