Audrey Swanson (Hanson), age 90, of Richfield, passed away January 1, 2014. Audrey was born to Jesse and Henry Hanson April 28, 1923 in Minneapolis, MN. She married Stuart Swanson June 29, 1946 after he returned from the war. She was preceded in death by Stuart and her daughter, Deborah. She is survived by her son, Stephen; brother-in-law, Robert Laing; and many nephews and nieces. Audrey worked for 30 years as a children's librarian for the Hennepin Library System at the Augsburg Park Library, a job she loved because of the wonderful and fun children she was able to meet over the years. She especially enjoyed performing story time to the little ones. Instead of flowers, memorials preferred to Augsburg Park Library (7100 Nicollet Ave., Richfield MN 55423) or to St. Therese Care Center (8000 Bass lake Road, New Hope MN 55428) who were so helpful as Audrey came to the end of her journey.
