Bert Lee Waller

Bert was born in St. Croix Falls, WI on August 16, 1952, the first son of Carroll F. and Frances E. Waller. He lived in Chisago City, MN until he was 4 years old, when his family moved to Richfield, MN. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1970. Bert began working in the food service industry during his mid-teens and continued in the hospitality industry managing businesses around the Metropolitan area for 48 years, until he retired at 64 yrs of age. While he was passionate about his family, he was also passionate about classic cars, hunting, fishing, baking and the West Coast - where he spent many of his childhood summers. Not to mention his sense of humor that included a plethora of dad jokes. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his children, Lindsay (Matt) Nelson and Brandon Waller; grandchildren, Logan, Riley, and Jaida; sister, Kay (Tom); brother, David (Cindy); and nieces.
