Retired Lieutenant Colonel Bracy F. Mabry Jr. age 87 passed away peacefully at the hospital on August 1st 2017 with both of his daughters at his bedside. He was born on March 31, 1930 in Aiken, SC. Bracy served over 20 years in the US Army as a decorated pilot. He served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars and took great pride in his excellent piloting skills. As a pilot, he was often requested by top dignitaries and VIP’S. Bracy was truly one of the best. Preceded in death by parents Bracy F. Mabry Sr. and Gertrude Mabry (Wills). Survived by his daughters, Mitzi Mabry and Holli (Kevin) Loken. Private services and interment.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.

Dear Bracy’s Family– My prayers and condolences are with you during this time of sorrow. Cousin Bracy was a very distinguished, kind-hearted person. I remember when he and his daughters would visit his mother’s, Gertrude Mabry of Aiken, SC –who is my great-aunt. I truly enjoyed their visits and fun time with the girls. It has been a long time ago but memories will always be cherished. I received the news about Cousin Bracy’s obituary just recently– by my dad’s close friend in Aiken, SC viewing the obituary of Aiken’s Newspaper.
