Carl J. Schultz,
Carl died 2/11/2017 at the age 95 at Regions Hospital in St.Paul, Minnesota. He grew up in Stevens Point, Wisconsin and enlisted in the US Army in 1942. He served his country until 1946 with the 568th Signal Aircraft Warning Battalion in the South Pacific. He earned four military awards including: Good Conduct Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, American Theater Service Medal and Asiatic Pacific Theater Service Medal . Upon discharge, he married Jane Hunter and attended college at the University of Wisconsin and Massachusetts Institute of Technology: MIT. Together they moved to St. Paul and started his career as an electrical engineer. He enjoyed reading and was an avid golf. Survived by children, Sue Schultz of Seattle, Washington, Tom (Hyoshin Na) Schultz of San Fransico, California and Cynthia Wisehart of Bemidji, Minnesota; grandchildren, Nate (Julia) Wisehart of Duluth, Minnesota and Erica Wisehart of Duluth, Minnesota; four year old great-granddaughter, Piper Wisehart; and many friends and relatives. Preceded in death by wife, Jane Schultz; and parents, Joseph and Teckla Schultz.
