Carol J. Kleschold

Carol Julianne (nee, Torgeson) Kleschold passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 7, 2018 at the age of 83. Born November 19, 1934 to Ella and Julius Torgeson, she graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1952. She worked for Honeywell and her husband's company in a variety of roles, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels and Fairview Hospital. Married to her sweetheart Joel for nearly 60 years, they made the most of life every step of the way. She especially enjoyed getting together with family and friends to celebrate special occasions. She was a lifelong lover of music and a member of the Sweet Adelines and Men & Women of Note. She considered pets a part of the family and they held a special spot in her heart. She supported the Humane Society and was always concerned about the welfare of animals. Carol was a loving wife, amazing mom and caring grandmother and is survived by her husband, Joel; sons, Douglas, David (Lori), Donald (Jennifer); and daughter, Kimberly Ruckes (Walt); grandchildren, Ryan, Holly, Sarah and Madeline; step-grandchildren, Jacob, Jeremy, Kristina, Tyler and Chelsea; and step-great-grandchild, Kaiser. Although she has gone to join her mom, dad, brothers and many friends, we know her joyful and loving spirit will always be with us.
