Cyrus A. Kingsberg, age 99, of Minneapolis. Navy veteran of WWII proudly served on the Nehenta Bay. Preceded in death by his wife, Norma; son, Gary. Survived by daughter, Linda (Ernie) Hudson; grandchildren, Derek and Darin (Kristi) Kingsberg, Andrew and Ross Hudson; 4 nieces and 8 nephews.

Dear Linda and family,
Heartfelt sympathy to you at the loss of your dear father. I read with interest Cy’s obituary in the Sunday paper. Loved the photos and I did not realize he served in the navy. Our son-in-law just returned after a 7 month deployment on the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower. I know personally how especially hard it is to lose your last parent. Added to that, was to lose him to COVID and not be able to celebrate his long life with the usual funeral gathering. So sad! I am very sorry that you are going through this difficult time. Ironically, as I write this we await the last days of my husband’s father who is also 99 years old. He so looked forward to reaching 100!
