Age 77, formerly of Richfield, passed away on July 7, 2020, in Reno, NV. Dale was born on July 1, 1943 to Francis W. and Adeline K. Ronning in Saint Paul. He is survived by his children, Collene Martin and Alan (Barbara) Ronning; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Dr. Gerald (Cheryl) Ronning and Robert (Anne Karin) Ronning; one nephew; and two nieces. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Adeline (née Simonson). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 6 at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior at Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave S, Richfield, MN 55423.

I”m so sorry to hear of Dale’s passing. We had lost touch with him, but I remember when he stayed with my mom and dad for awhile in Tustin, Ca. He was a great help to them while he was with them, and I got to know him a little. I enjoyed the time spent with him, while I was visiting my parents, Barbara and Cye Simonson.
My sincerest condolences to the family.
Dale was a best friend for many years. Dale was a accomplished master carpenter and Builder. Along with being great friends we worked together on many interesting project all over the country over the years. Dale is one of the smartest people I’ve even know.
I’m living in Alaska now and just got word today of Dale’s passing. I haven’t seen Dale sense I was living on the north shore of Lake Superior when dale drove up to visit.
I’ve always missed not seeing Dale.
