Daniel Berg, age 74, of Manson, Iowa (previously Stephen, Minnesota) passed away peacefully on March 3rd, 2025.

So sorry for the loss of my classmate Danny. Danny and I were great friends in high school and played musical instruments together. Also had a small little band that we used to practice in this mother’s basement. My wife and I visited Danny in the late 70s when he lived by the Minneapolis, International Airport and I lost touch of him,but have been trying to reach him ever since but couldn’t figure out how.The day before he passed away. I was thinking about how to get a hold of him one more time and then I got the news. Rest in peace my friend see you at another life and we’ll get together and jam again sincerely your best friend arne

One of the best cribbage players in the country, next to my Dad of course. He had a good singing voice and could do wonders with a drum set. He led an amazing band all started with practice in his parents basement in Stephen during his high school years, A solid work-a-day guy like the rest of us except his retirement years were cut short. Our thoughts are with his family.
Our deepest condolences Jeanette and Family. I have been reflecting on the memories of Danny this week and they go back to High School days when I used to stay at the Berg residence during the stormy winter days in Stephen. Yes, Danny sure did like banging on those drums of his. I/we will always cherish the memories with Danny. He was focused and seemed to know what his mission was.
