Dennis will be missed on Tonkaview Ln.
I had not seen Dennis in a few weeks so I was concerned. Over the years I have learned many interesting facts from Dennis. I will always remember him as one of the nicest customers I ever had. God bless you!
Happy to have met you. May you rest in peace Dennis.
We lived across the street from Dennis for over 40 years. Dennis loved to visit! Over 40 years, we figure we had at least one conversation with Dennis per week or over 2,100 conversations with Dennis during that time. Our conversations included spirited discussions about childhood memories, Dennis’s parents and Aunts, music, lake community events, City of Orono ordinances, Lake Minnetonka water quality, religion, politics, auto racing, vintage motorcycles, vintage cars, health issues, time management or lack there of, and many other interesting topics. Dennis was knowledgable about each topic and loved to focus on the fine details of an issue. No matter the topic, Dennis would usually wrap up the conversation with an interesting story about an automobile.
Dennis was smart, curious, well read, friendly, loquacious, quirky, generous, kind, and he had good sense of humor. Dennis was a good man, an unforgettable character, and a terrific neighbor. We are saddened by his death and will miss him.
