Elaine Gerk

Elaine Naomi Gerk (Stennes), age 91, of Bloomington, went to be with Jesus on September 5, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by daughter, Carolyn and sister, Vivian Storsved. Survived by husband, Donald; son, Richard Gerk (Carole); daughters, Barbara Vargas and Nancy Grothe (Gary); grandchildren, Jefferson Vargas (Angela), Daniel Gerk, Brian Vargas, Carly Lawson (Kramer), Thomas Gerk, Neal Grothe (Heather) and Nicholas Grothe (Alisa); 5 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Stennes (Maria) and Homer Stennes (June), and many nieces and nephews who loved her. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Minnesota Masonic Home D-2 and the St. Croix Hospice for their loving care for Elaine.
