MINNESOTA lost a gem! Jerry’s holiday messages and letters were the best and always appreciated. Condolences to Elsa and family.
Dear Mark and family,
I extend my deepest sympathy and sincerest condolences on the passing of your dear father.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Marsha Balfanz
(Your 4th Grade Teacher)
Minnesota and the nation has lost a pioneer and a leader in the aging field. Condolences to Elsa and family.
Thank you Bill. I have corresponded with Lisa Morgan. She loves you.
Mrs. Balfanz, thank you. I never knew your first name. It was always Mr. or Mrs.
Mark,
Condolences from your work family. We know how tough this has been for you ~ please know that we are all here to support you however we can.
My mother, Gladys Johnson, just told me she had read about Jerry’s passing in the Tribune this past weekend. She and I wish to convey our condolences. Even though we haven’t seen each other in years, I’ve always enjoyed keeping up with the Bloedow family via Jerry’s Christmas letters that I would read every year when visiting my mom in Faribault. Mom would always show me the pictures he would send of his flowers as well. I still remember the trip to Milwaukee when the Bloedows and the Johnsons visited the Swanson family and toured things like the Milwaukee Zoo and the Domes. Please pass our sympathies along to Elsa, Mark and family, Brian and family. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers..
Kaari,
My thoughts are with you and your family during this time of change.
