Helen A. Winter

Helen A. Winter age 91 of Bloomington, born in Gaylord, MN on March 9, 1925 and died January 6, 2017. Preceded in death by husband, Robert; parents, Albert and Louise Zachow; brothers, Walter and Wilmar; sisters, Arena Maser and Edna Baer. Survived by sons, Stan (Laura), Steve (Fran); daughter, Sandee (Michael) Murphy; grandsons, Jake (Kay) and Chance Murphy. Helen worked for 23 years at the Southdale YMCA. She was a typical small town girl who served the Lord her entire life. Special thank you to all the staff at Meadow Woods, especially on the Memory Care unit 2nd floor for the excellent care and to the Health Partners Hospice for their help and support.
