Janice Garnatz, age 66, of Eagan, MN, formerly of Rochester, passed away at home unexpectedly. Janice was a hard worker all her life and returned to college to fulfill her calling to be a nurse and care for patients who had trauma injuries. She found great fulfillment in caring for patients and their families. Janice enjoyed being in nature by tending to her garden and watching birds. She enjoyed learning and researching how to do home renovations, woodworking and took pride in building her own home.
Janice is the youngest of six children of Clenton and Ruth Horob. She is survived by daughters, Christy (Jeffrey) Dubert and Jeni Chrusciel; granddaughter Aribella Johnson; siblings Clenton Chipper Horob, JoAnn (Horob) Sheldon, Larene (Horob) Grondahl, Suzann (Horob) Aldridge, and Dean Horob. Preceded in death by her daughter, Teri Amundson, parents, and the love of her life, Roger Garnatz.
