Jeff R. Lock, age 50, of Richfield and Mounds View, MN. After a difficult birth, on October 23, 1963, Jeff lived with Cerebral Palsy, bravely all his life. He embraced the Cerebral Palsy, and made himself strong. Recently he became tired, fought through much illness. He passed to Heaven Tuesday, September 10, 2014. Preceded in death by grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Richard B. Lock Sr., and by Mr. & Mrs. Stanley R. Haight. He is survived by his mother, Veronica E. Lock and father, Richard B. Lock Jr.; sisters, Melodee Jacobs (Andy), Wendee Lock, Tracee Dunnum (Robert), and Tammee Lock. Proud uncle to nephews Kyle Lock, Kolton Lock, Nick Lock, and niece, Mikayla Dunnum; many aunts and uncles, and cousins; his beloved girlfriend, Lynne Myers; Godparents, Mr. & Mrs. Clyde Olson; and many friends. Jeff was always an advocate for himself, and often for others like him. Often a fun & funny man, for sure. He worked several years for Wal-Mart as a "May I help you Greeter", which he loved doing. He was a great Vikings Fan, and lived to see the Vikings win their 1st seasonal game this year. He recently found his way back to arts & crafts, and proudly called himself "Artist". Special thanks to staff at Phoenix Residence, Ludden House, Phoenix Alternatives, Inc. day program, Health Partners Hospice, and Pastor Brice Eichlersmith. Jeff was so loved, and he loved strongly in return all his family, friends, and staff. Jeff was an amazing Man all his life.
