Jeffry Wayne “Eric” Erickson age 71 of Lakeville, passed away on October 23, 2022. Longtime owner of Sandy’s Tavern in Richfield; avid golfer and gardener. Preceded in death by, parents, Magnus and Evelyn (nee, Nystedt) Erickson. He was a loving husband to Debby and a proud father of Daisha. Also surviving are his siblings, Dennis (Sandy) Erickson, Vicki (Ken) Groth; nieces, nephews, other loving family and many friends.

I am deeply sorry for Erik’s passing. Erik was my first contact when I received orders to Minneapolis MN in May 1986. Erik and ALL of Sandy’s patrons made me feel at home during my 4 year tour of duty. Turned out Minneapolis was the BEST duty station during my 21 year Navy career thanks to Erik. Thanks shipmate may you have fair winds and following seas “Pitt”
I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. I took care of their daughter many years ago. Erik was a great guy, both he and Debby were wonderful parents to Daisha. My condolences to the family.
Words cannot say what a loss this is. He taught me more about being an adult than about anyone. Godspeed Boss.
Sat next to Jeff thru high school. Listened to his “ love woes” – having a slight crush on him thru those years. Went in to Sandy’s before our 50 th class reunion in 2018 because he was not able to attend. Hadn’t seen him for over 50 years. He did remember me and took out his SW yearbook while we reminisced some. So sad to hear the news. I had hoped one day we would meet at one of the reunions; that we could introduce our spouses to each other. I am glad My brother, Roger and I stopped by Sandy’s that day.
Got word of Eric’s passing my condolences to the family. I first met him
at Black Swan Pub .
I started going there in 1980. Since I moved to Minnetonka / Plymouth area.

So saddened to hear of Jeff’s passing. He was one of my closest friends in high school and beyond. We just recently were making plans for a get together with old high school friends. Will be greatly missed. RIP my good friend.
