John A. "Jack" Eriksen,
Jack was born in Findlay, OH on October 2, 1921 and died peacefully on October 14, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. He was the proud founder of Viking Paints, Inc. in 1964. He served as an MP in the U. S. Army during WWII. Preceded in death by his 1st wife, Lois (Lund), 2nd wife Doris (Mercer); sons, Robert and David,
daughter, Barbara and his brother, James. Survived by grandchildren, Jennifer Eriksen, Franklin Eriksen and Shannon Eriksen; daughter-in-law, Patricia Eriksen; step-children, Gary, Thomas and Dara Everson; step-grandchildren, Wendy, Troy, Dan, Aria and Leighton Everson; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters, Virginia Brunette, Ruth Di Santo and Susan Case and special caretaker, Christine Bezio. Jack was a charter member of House of Prayer Lutheran Church, Richfield and served the church in many capacities. He enjoyed golfing and had an extraordinary singing voice. He will be remembered for his intellectual curiosity, his sense of humor and especially for his generosity. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
