I had the privilege of working with John at Minneapolis College where he was our Master Electrician. John was an extremely talented electrician who had a positive impact on our campus, as well as on all of us he worked with. John had a big heart and a big smile. We miss him.

Ohhh I’m sad to see this. I’m their former neighbor Lori. Myself, my parents Mark and Sandy and my brother Dustin lived next door to them in Minneapolis. Much love to all of you. Many fond memories and lots of laughs! May John rest in peace.

John was my 9th grade basketball coach for Washburn High School. I was a 15/16 yr old kid living with my elderly Grandmother. I didn’t have a car or a way to get to the basketball games. All season John either took me to and from the games or he or his wife found a ride for me. For a kid with no family, that really meant a lot to me. I also liked John’s wife, his son Tom & Tom’s younger brother. They all seemed like very nice people. I know this message is 5 yrs after John died but I just want to tell his family thanks for being so nice to me during that basketball season. In the short time I knew John he seemed to be a really good man. Thanks Coach!
