February 11, 1929 - February 19, 2015
Joseph Patrick Regan age 86, world traveler, teller of tall tales, avid gardener and friend of the underdog passed away at home on February 19, 2015 from complications of cancer. Joe was born and raised in Mobridge, S.D. From there he joined the Army and served in Japan at the end of WWII. Following his service, he moved to the Twin Cities and worked for Northwest Airlines where he met his future wife Mary LeRoy (deceased). Joe is survived by his dear companion, Dorothy Hennings; sister, (Kathryn Jesse); sons, Mike (Laurel), Bill (Linda Hanke); daughter Kathy (Bobbi Lewandowski); granddaughters, Brenna, Tarah Regan Anderson (Michael), Ruby and Mona. A true Irishman, Joe loved Guinness and enjoyed visiting the Emerald Isle. We hope he experiences the same sense of wonderment in the next life as he did in this one. Interment Ft. Snelling.

Sorry for your loss. You’re in our thoughts, and we pray the angels give you peace, comfort, and strength during this time of grieving.
What a lovely memorial. “Wonderment” is charming…as was the man. I will be toasting Joseph Patrick Regan with Guinness on St Patty’s Day. Loving thoughts and hugs to all the family.
