Age 83, of New Hope, passed away on July 18th, surrounded by her beloved granddaughter, Brittany Young. Born on February 23, 1941, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Kathleen was the cherished daughter of Bernice and Thorvald Holte. She had three other siblings, preceded in death by Marian Hargreaves and Suzanne Holte. Survived by her brother William Holte and Snowflake Holte (Flakers, her cat).

Kathleen, affectionately known as Kathy, was a devoted mother to Pamela and Lisa, and played a pivotal role in raising her granddaughter, Brittany. She was also a proud grandmother to Shawn Payne, Brittany Young and Heather Payne.

Kathy had a zest for life that was infectious. Known for her adventurous spirit, she once sped down Highway 169 at 100 mph, swapping drivers with her best friend, Elaine. Her love for Elvis Presley led her to attend many of his concerts with her sisters, Marian and Sue.

An avid animal lover, Kathy's passions extended to fishing, boating, RV traveling, and cruising. Her home sparkled with her meticulous care, reflecting her love for cleaning and organization.

Kathleen Marie Holte will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate to know her. Her legacy of love, adventure, and dedication to family will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
