So sorry to hear of Aunt Kathryn’s passing. I have not keep in good touch with all of you who are my cousins. I know you will miss your mom. She will be joining Joe & Alice, Roman & Mary, Gen & Clarence, George & Muriel, and my dad, Don & mom, Mickey. Should be one heck of a reunion. I really enjoyed my short visit with your mom last year and feel blessed to have had that time to see her. It was a gift.
Sending my condolences to Deb, Barb and Steve and the entire Zilka/Lubansky families. Aunt Kathryn was a wonderful warm woman full of positivity. May years of good memories stay with you at this difficult time.
With love,
Donna Lee Lubansky [Slattery]
Condolences to the Zilka/Brancale Family on Grandma Z’s passing.
I just noticed the StarTribune obituary this morning, and the Zilka name caught my eye. As I read through, I saw Deb’s and Bob’s names and great memories of the mid 90’s came back. Your Mother/Grandma/Greatgrandma’s life story touched me because it parallels my Mom’s. We lost her 2 years ago, also at age 94. Only two kids, but she also had six grandkids. A few more great grandkids. I hope you can be comforted by many memories of a long life well-lived. Special thoughts to the Brancale sisters.
