LaVonne A. Hughes of Richfield, passed away on January 14, 2013. LaVonne loved and was proud of her 14 years at Gabberts, 29 years at the March of Dimes and her Mary Kay career. Her love and knowledge of history, Frank Sinatra, flowers and birds were only surpassed by her love for her children and grandchildren.
LaVonne is preceded in death by son, Thomas Hughes; former husband, Ralph “Tiny” Hughes; sisters, Edith, Virginia, Dorothy “Sis”, and Jean; and brother, Eugene “Son”. She survived by her daughter, Bette Anne (Eric Sorenson) Hughes; grandchildren, Christopher (Kacie) Ervasti, April (Kyle) Anderson, Patrick (Jennifer), Eric Jr. and James (Emily) Sorenson; great-grandchildren, Maya, Miles, Noel, Holly, Erin, Megan, Anya, Josiah, Malachi, and Judah; sister, Agnes Hought; and many relatives and friends.
Dear BA and Eric and family: We send our love and sympathy to you at the loss of LaVonne. LaVonne was so sweet and how she loved her family. We will be praying for your family in this time of sorrow. I pray that God will bless you with his loving comforting arms. Love Meta and Michael!
