Lila E. Thonvold, age 90, of Chaska. Preceded in death by her husband, Obert, son Daryl Lee and a sister, Rosella Arndt. Survived by her children and their spouses, Bill Thonvold, Dennis (Lindy) Thonvold, Roger (Cynthia) Thonvold and Marilyn (Don) Brownlee. Grandchildren, Katherine Thonvold, Jack Thonvold and Lance Thonvold as well as a sister, Helen Pessek.
Lila led a very full and active life with many volunteer activities, including the Eagle Club Aerie #3208 and her church, Berea Lutheran Church, Richfield. Lila retired from the Richfield Public Schools after 20 years of service.
Funeral service Monday, November 3, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Berea Lutheran Church, 7538 Emerson Ave. S., Richfield. Interment at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Visitation Sunday, Nov. 2, 2014, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Morris Nilsen Funeral Chapel, 6527 Portland Ave. S., Richfield, and one hour prior to service at the Church.
